When Mykki‘s “Little Feet” began, my first thought was Connan Mockasin. A few seconds later that comparison had already become useless. The song quickly settles into a rich R&B groove where heavily treated guitars blur into the production, giving everything a hazy glow. Nothing feels static. Every instrument seems to melt into the next, creating an atmosphere that’s impossible to separate into individual pieces.
The chemistry between the voices is what keeps pulling me back. Different timbres often compete for space, but here they seem to orbit each other naturally. That tension makes the whole track feel slightly odd without ever becoming uncomfortable. I also couldn’t stop thinking about Soft Hair, not because the music sounds the same, but because both projects share that fearless approach to texture. They aren’t afraid to let strange ideas become beautiful.
By the end, I wasn’t thinking about genres anymore. I was thinking about a city after midnight. Neon signs stretching across wet streets. The air carrying the smell of alcohol from bars that nobody is ready to leave. Faces becoming softer as the night goes on. “Little Feet” captures that exact moment when everything slows down without losing its pulse. It’s smooth, seductive and wonderfully easy to disappear into, leaving behind the kind of atmosphere that stays with you long after the music fades.
