Lost, in the middle of a problem.
Confused, lost or confused feelings. A strange feeling of insecurity, which affects even the most confident.
We’re talking about work, love relationships or even friendships. When things don’t materialise into what we thought was true, a cloud hangs over our heads that we can’t control.
Today, to the sound of rock music, we fly to Austria to solve the ghosts hanging over our heads. Meet Glazed Curtains.
Rock, pure and hard. Yes, you heard right. Rock, pure and hard. The premise is promising from the first riff, but they say rock is the best medicine, and we couldn’t agree more.
From Vienna to the World, the band is made up of Constantin Kary, Jay Mathes, Maximilian Sulz and Matei Balasoiu, and their premise is simple, raw and effective: Rock cures all kinds of ills.
And it’s in the midst of riffs, tight drums and strong vocals that we get to LOVE ME NOW, an anthem where we battle to find self-love during a depression. Our life is the most important thing in the world, but how can we survive it if we don’t feel good about ourselves?
And it’s with words and a strong rhythm that we think about ourselves and the best we can give to the world. We are such valuable beings that we have to love ourselves more than anyone else before we arrive and share that energy with our neighbours.
And Glazed Curtains fulfil their promise: with contagious energy, they share their experience and give us the best they have to be even bigger and more relevant in our lives.
More than loving ourselves, we fell in love with Glazed Curtains and their irreverent energy.
A WtMM recommendation.
