To the Tide is the artistic vision of Aidan, a musician who believes in storytelling through sound. Blending his roots in guitar with a newfound confidence in vocals and intricate sound design, he creates music that evokes deep emotion and narrative depth. With a background in both organic instrumentation and electronic production, Aidan also explores heavier, bass-driven sounds under his Silk Static alias. Currently living in a van in Western Canada, he crafts his music on the move, allowing the landscapes around him to shape his sonic identity.

It captures the anguish of being unable to think of anything but a lost connection, haunted by its memory.
