Following the triumph of Enjou’s 2022 project X, the journey continues with X2, a collaborative endeavor that promises a fresh track every Wednesday from January 11th to June 7th, culminating in the full album release. Among these, denisse ojeda teams up with Saah for their latest illuminating offering, “The Space Within“.
This piece captures the warm, invigorating piano-led aesthetic that marks the new venture, standing out as a wonderfully emotive listen with rich, captivating textures, making it a highlight of the upcoming collection.
denisse ojeda, a Mexican-American artist and composer based in Los Angeles, brings her extensive experience in visual media composition to the project. A Berklee College of Music alumna, denisse has worked on high-profile promotions for Amazon, Netflix, and HBO, blending electronic, experimental, and orchestral sounds into her darker, ambient style. Partnering with Saah, the moniker of Vienna-based pianist and composer Angelika Haas, known for her improvisational prowess and heartfelt solo piano pieces, the duo embodies the essence of X2. This project redefines musical collaboration by pairing artists anonymously to create a unique, dual-perspective concept. With contributions from 41 artists worldwide, X2 culminates in 22 ambient and electronic neoclassical tracks, showcasing the innovative spirit of this remarkable musical.
