Jantoje, the brainchild of Sydney producer Jake Edwards, is carving out a distinct niche within the realm of indie-dance and electro-house music. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Rufus Du Sol, Odesza, and Hayden James, Jantoje has recently treated us to two outstanding singles, namely “Runaway (feat. Beach Season)” and “Honesty“. Alongside these releases, he announced the imminent arrival of a three-track EP titled “Verano“.
Most recently, Jantoje unveiled the much-anticipated EP, featuring the previously unheard indie-dance gem, “Heart Strings“. The project showcases Edwards’ prowess in crafting a sonic landscape that seamlessly blends genres, promising an exhilarating musical journey for enthusiasts of the electronic music scene.
About “Heart Strings“, the producer told us: “This track was first started about two or three years ago. It wasn’t until I was going through all my project files from an old computer earlier this year when I came across it again. I had the progression down and added a vocal sample which I liked and chopped it up a bit with some resampling. Even though the song was first started afew years ago it actually came together quite quick and goes to show how your creativity can change overtime. I hope this track makes listeners want to dance at a festival or to go travelling and explore!“
