Amethysts’ new “Bloodline”

In "Bloodline", shoegaze naturally develops itself into a dream pop anthem, assuring Amethysts' sound as their own.

Amethysts, known for their impressive track record with over a million plays on Apple Music and consistent support from outlets such as BBC Radio 1, have garnered attention from notable publications like Clash or Earmilk. They’ve also made their mark on the festival circuit, performing at events such as Latitude Festival, Secret Garden Party, and BBC Introducing Live, and have supported acclaimed artists like Anna Meredith and Nothing But Thieves while contributing to numerous BBC Introducing sessions.
As of September 2023, Amethysts emerge from an extended studio period, signalling the next exciting phase of their careers.

Amethysts have unveiled their latest single, “Bloodline“, released on September 15th via Tabby Tracks Records/Conch Town Records, serving as the first glimpse into their forthcoming EP, “New Moon“. After collaborating with renowned producer Shuta Shinoda and labels such as RAMP Recordings and Manimal Vinyl, the British duo returns after a two-year hiatus with this ‘nu-gaze’ track. Produced by Alex Gordon and mastered by Tom Stanford, “Bloodline” merges biting shoegaze-inspired guitars with dynamic drums, deep sub-bass, and a fusion of electronic, indie, and dreampop elements, all complemented by Clarice and Simon’s delicate, emotive harmonies floating above the music’s captivating tones and infectious melodies.
