Haz & Miloux is a dream team collaboration between award-winning Producer Haz (Harry Huavi) and Miloux (Rebecca Melrose). “March 12” is the duo’s latest release and makes way to their anticipated new EP “Brunette“. It was described by Miloux as “a letter to my younger self, a reassurance that pain or trauma doesn’t have to dictate the rest of your life. It’s ok that it might have held you back for a little while and to feel and acknowledge pain is not a weakness but a strength. Pain from the past doesn’t have to stop you from trusting or loving again. There’s no shame in taking your time to heal.”
Hoagie – Recommendations
Meet Hoagie, the Portland, Oregon-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, formerly a lawyer, now fully devoted to his musical passion. With his debut album “Other Folks” set to release on September 29, 2023, Hoagie delivers a bold and headstrong collection of tracks that celebrate inclusivity and individuality. One of the standout pieces from the album is “Recommendations” a powerful ode to accepting one another despite our differences. The track, written and arranged by Dave Holgado himself, boasts the exceptional production skills of Joe Michelini and mastering by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. Featuring Max Kulicke on lead guitar and Shane Luckenbaugh on drums, “Recommendations” promises to captivate audiences with its irreverent charm and undeniable musical brilliance.
Indira May & Saffron – i can see you’re online
Indira May and Saffron are a very captivating duo. Drawing inspiration from musical legends like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Cookin Soul, and Wayne Snow, their unique blend of Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music has earned them the title of “ones to watch”. Having performed at Ronnie Scott’s and received support from BBC Radio 1, they continue to make their mark, with their anticipated exciting work, “Disconnected“, pushing boundaries in the Jazz scene and announcing their arrival with confidence.
“i can see you’re online” blends eerie bass lines, ethereal vocals, and indie electronic sounds, exploring the compulsion to monitor someone’s social media. It reflects on the complexities of modern relationships and breakups in the digital age.
new body electric – Space
“Space” the newest track from the independent band New Body Electric, feels like a gentle breeze on a cool Portland night, full of both serenity and vitality. Rendered in the alluring female voice of their newest band member, the song delicately explores the concept of personal space in a relaxed-smooth vibe, instantly bewitching the listener. The soundscapes, reminiscent of the likes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, are constructed with intricate layers of guitar and synth, creating a sonic tapestry that engulfs the listener in a dreamy warmth. To give us a taste of what’s to come, the Canadian artist has just launched the EP’s second single, “Never Apart“. The track revolves around a luminous keyboard melody accompanied by an uplifting groove and dreamy beats, while Jett’s mesmerizing vocals soar in a hypnotic high register, enveloped in reverb. Seja Vogel‘s music career began with the synth-punk trio Sekiden in 1998, followed by joining Regurgitator. She released solo albums like “We Have Secrets But Nobody Cares” and “All Our Wires“. In 2013, she received the Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship. Besides music, Seja crafted miniature felt replicas of instruments and hosted the popular podcast HearSej. Her highly anticipated third album, “Here is One I Know You Know” showcases her unique future-pop sound with a blend of analogue elements and captivating vocals, featuring collaborations with talented musicians.

Skyler Day – The Best Worst Thing
Skyler Day‘s latest track, “The Best Worst Thing” emerges as a veritable tempest of intimate revelations one might chance upon in a secret diary. Distinguished by her candid lyricism, the Georgia-born songstress has been praised by American Songwriter, an acclaim that further solidified her position by earning her a prestigious second place in the International Songwriting Competition. Skyler’s confessional style has engendered a devoted following, selling out iconic venues like the Troubadour, and drawing the attention of GRAMMY-winner Kacey Musgraves. It was Musgraves herself who selected Day as a mentee, fostering her progression and landing her a coveted spot at ACL Fest.

Sundozer – Never Easy
