Abhishek Sekhri, a New Delhi-based music producer and mix engineer, leads the independent music project Goya. Through this outlet, he showcases his skills as a composer. Although his current creations primarily fall under the “electronic” genre, he incorporates acoustic instruments and organic sound samples to establish a distinct and original soundscape. He draws inspiration from artists such as Nils Frahm, Aether, Hinkstep, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, and Flume.
“Road to Sangla” was inspired by the Goya‘s first trip to the stunning Sangla Valley in the Himalayas. It features a powerful electronic beat and transitioning ambient synthesizers, with Mir Kassif Iqbal playing electric guitars and everything ending up with the sensation of travelling through the roads of Sangla.
