“ah ah haaa” here it is Jazz Emu, and if like us you haven’t heard about him early, prepare yourself to be jazzy-ly-funked with his beautiful digital content, or should we say gorgeous music, in “Digital Spool“.
It’s needless to say that brilliance is found in lyrics like “Do you feel me? Is this relatable? Do the things I say to you make you agree? Cause I need it to find a way to you, make you find my point of view” but that’s not the only thing or even the most incredible thing about this track. Sounding like a story where the listener will naturally dive into the meaning of the track, “Digital Spool” keeps on giving because of its quirky elements, capacity to surprise with its variations and even its familiarity which drives us to sonorities like Unknown Mortal Orchestra or Gotye (and we know this is a somewhat unexpected combo). But that’s not only it, and you’ll understand that by consuming this until the end.
“Digital Spool” is the closing track of his upcoming album with the same name. And the track “talks about the process of creation as an independent artist, and the feeling of isolation and loneliness that comes with creating something all by yourself“.
