Olivae is the artistic name of Vasco Oliveira. He is a folk singer-songwriter based in Porto whose main influences are names like Elliot Smith, John Lee Hooker, The Doors, Mark Knofler or Alexi Murdoch.

With his first three-song EP released one year ago, Olivae’s 2019 was filled with releases of great folk songs. In each of them, he puts his heart and soul. Filled with meaning and with a very easy to engage sonority, the deep vocals are always the highlight that can make him leave a clear mark in the indie world.

Last August he performed for 45 people an intimate 40 minutes show. To date one of the most engagingly deep performances we had the pleasure to witness in our Balcony Shows. Playing across the twilight hours, Worn Out Streets shows exactly what the show was all about.
