There are artists we find hard to find the words to describe. Artists that deliver every single time. Leif Vollebekk has hypnotized us since the release of Elegy. And Hot Tears, his newest song, is another stunner.
Much more positive but not less intense than Twin Solitude, this marks the return of Leif Vollebekk and the anticipation of his fourth album entitled New Ways (1st November). Hot Tears is a song about desire and being able to keep a record of things. About engaging and changing, about being room to be changed. A song about not having regrets. And sure sounds like it. Vocally courageous but also comfortable, engaging, and ever captivating. Creates in the listener the desire to sing. And also emanates a simple positivist and groovy blues that make it easy to live in this world. And that is what music is all about, isn’t it?
