Professor Green – Photographs ft. Rag’n’Bone Man

Professor Green is more than just a british rapper, he has a deep message of awareness to share with the world. Apart from that, his music is as great as can be.

Stephen Manderson is more commonly known as Professor Green and under this name he’s becoming one of the most exciting and respectful rappers in the UK (and maybe the world?).  The Hackney born-and-raised rapper as already notched up two Top 3 albums, which opened him doors that made this collaboration with Rag’n’Bone Man possible.

Intensely raising his voice alerting for suicide and loss, Photographs is another single from Professor Green that follows his incredible work as Patron of anti-suicide charity CALM.
“Wish that I took more photographs of us” is the kick-off to lyrics full of emotion and sorrow, sang by Rag’n’Bone Man deep vocals. Green sings about the feeling of loss, the idea that people tend to believe they are imortal and are always postponing everything, and he does it in such a personal way he can go into our mind and be our consciousness for 4 minutes and a half.

The instrumental is sheer, it’s placed in a crescendo from piano to an epic-style wires and choir arrangement and deep beat bringing memories from Human‘s Rag’n’Bone hit. And that helps us believe that this track will be one of the greatest hits of the beginning of next year. In fact, it has everything that needs to be played in every radio around the world: two great interpreters singing with emotion and soul, amazing lyrics and an incredibly catchy melody and chorus.
