[Best of November] Ry Jones: City Lights

To o S A P O M u d o | f r o m t h e F R O G, it was all about the very first seconds and an undeniably jazzy saxophone.

Every month with the help from o S A P O M u d o | f r o m t h e F R O G we select the best song of the month. The selected song is entitled to a special drawing. This month she selected one from a beautiful series of songs released under Ry Jones debut triple release. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Right at the start of November, we introduced Ry Jones, a promising new artist that stole our hearts and souls away. We loved his work so much, we introduced three singles off the bat. And we weren’t the only ones. o S A P O M u d o | f r o m t h e F R O G also felt attracted and compelled by this track to make a drawing inspired by it.

For her, it was all about the very first seconds. The saxophone has a certain fine jazz quality it doesn’t goes by unnoticed, much less by the Frog. She gets personal saying the the song sends her for a walk at dawn, when the sun is not yet born, after a sleepless night, a night to walk and to think. “Find your way home” is a verse that means something to me.
