We first talked about Theme Park back in May 2016 highlighting their dreamy melodies, fun bassline and sparse electronica on You Are Real. I’ll Do Anything is Theme Park’s 4th single of their latest record Is This How It Starts? out May 5th. Infectious as ever, after the first listen you’ll find yourself spontaneously humming to this song. Keeping on track withTheme Park‘s usual bubbly loud synths and happy melodies, I’ll Do Anything may very well be this Spring tune.
The last thing you think of listening to such bubbly, happy tune is villans, right? Well, according to singer and guitarist Miles Haughton: “I’ll Do Anything is about feeling a connection with someone when they’ve got a boyfriend (…) It’s nice to write a song from the point of view of a villain.”
