Simon On The Moon just debuted himself with the most addictive single – Hooked. In this indietronic wonder one can’t quite identify why it sounds so different from all other indietronic songs.
Hooked excels in mastering and production, keeping all sounds clean and distinctive. His echoing falsetto like vocals are the cherry on top, creating a R&B cool vibe, comparable to huge names like Kindness or Dev Hynes (Blood Orange). Incredibly, all the instruments were recorded and mixed by Simon – mostly in his own bedroom – whilst he experimented with the effects the sounds had on each other.
