You might have already heard Seramic‘s newest single I Got You before. In fact, we featured it in our weekend TGIF series a couple of weeks ago (the day the song was actually released). But for the first time ever we are featuring a song for the second time. The reasons are quite simple. First, this song has grown on us in an almost obsessive manner. And secondly, we could not be indifferent to the fact that it just got an official music video. If you haven’t heard the song before, you’re in for a treat. If you have, you’re in for a master-piece of a video-clip.
The disciplined movements and the perfect flowing choreography portrayed by the swimmers is the perfect antagonism for I Got You‘ crazy melodically pace and only-apparent craziness. And in the words of Marcus Foster, while the song is about “having someone’s back even if you part ways”. The video itself concentrates on “exploring subtle artistic elements behind a sport… and focussed on what happens underneath the water, rather than above the surface”.
We’ve got you Marcus. This is so good it hurts.
