After releasing the amazing Found EP about three months ago, Greg’s Love is the newest release from Seramic and it’s best if you catch your breath before pressing play. This single is a gospel-funk hurricane with no intention of slowing down. We had already talked about Seramic and expressed our love for their creativity when it comes to pick a genre and transform it to their own taste. Continuing their MO on vibrant, soulful sound explosions, Greg’s Love immediately reminded us of their addictive work in singles like Waiting and People Say. But wait. There’s more. This song was inspired by Bootsy Collins, and Bootsy Collins has a hand on this. So… Imagine Seramic‘s usual funkyness allied with the master of soul himself. That’s what you get from Greg’s Love. Soul, funk, gospel and energy explosions everywhere.
[su_quote class=”text-align: center”] The song began as a bass line sent to me by Greg, my bass player. It was inspired by Bootsy Collins, which is why we’re so honoured he agreed to get involved. It asks its listeners to celebrate; to find something fresh and exciting, like falling in love again, and just let go. [/su_quote]
If you need any visual aid to see the bursts of energy and letting go, they released a video to help. Below, you’ll get to see the very talented American artistic gymnast and dancer, Sophina DeJesus, preforming a racy choreography with a smirk on her face we’re sure you don’t want to miss.
