It’s amazing what an artist can put out right on their debut release. This is the case for this newcomer, Sol. She has released her very first single about 20 days ago and is no mystery to us this girl is going to be huge. Mystery is a sparse electro-pop tune that makes Sol‘s innocent yet sizzling vocals pop out. Giving away a Lapsley kind of vibe with the hand claps, captivating percussion and dark pop ambiance, this sets itself apart thanks to a in depth work of its musicality in a whole. Mystery was produced by Los Angeles’ Connor Irias (Auralponic) and you can really tell this collaboration was put into good use, hence his input with the atmospheric aura behind the electronic vibe. He explains that “The Auralponic aesthetic represents a deep appreciation for both advanced technology and organic elements. Thus, I love combining acoustic-sounding (yet huge) drums, jazzy chord progressions, paired with spacey synths, brainstem-massaging bass wubs, nature sounds and more…the music is effectively a re-telling of every sound that has touched me in this life.”
It’s known that there’s Sol will be releasing singles, collaborations, and performances very soon, so we’ll keep an eye for that “mystery”. Maybe you should too.
