Meeting of the Day: Theme Park – You Are Real

With dreamy melodies, fun bassline, sparse electronica and a falsetto that carries on throughout the song, seldom interrupted by a lower tone, You Are Real is Theme Park doing their thing.

After the consistent debut album Theme Park (2013), and the groovy soulful single Something Good (2015), Theme Park are back with the news of a brand new album You Are Real (on July 15) and with the release of its first track, You Are Real. In fact, Something Good appears to have been a bridge they built to start the transition from electro-funk to a new era of happy synths. With dreamy melodies, fun bassline, sparse electronica and a falsetto that carries on throughout the song, seldom interrupted by a sexy lower tone, You Are Real is Theme Park doing their thing. This lively track reminds a bit of The xx and Bombay Bicycle Club, in an all sparkling and good-vibes related way. I’ve figured it out, the answer is you  is just a lovely hug to the heart and a soft lullaby to the ears. Check it out below:
