After the release of the haunting RnB Satellite a few months ago, we kind of got addicted to Zanski. Little after that, he released another single in the lines of the first entitled Into You, and we’re totally into that. It isn’t just the title that reminds us of Chet Faker, it’s also the whole mood of the song with that dirty bass line that gets more and more complex throughout the song. The high vocals and electric guitar screamed to us Ben Khan in Savage or even in Youth. There’s a killer combination of RnB beats, seductive production and melodic aesthetics with that falsetto that keeps the chills going.
In a beautiful coincidence to Dylan's Nobel Prize, The Republic is a beautiful folk track, sung as an ode to going back to basics.
