Meadowlark are back with Quicksand, a vocal based, sparse arrangement song, that focus on the lyrics inspired by a story about a family working in a brick kiln in Pakistan.
After releasing the beautiful Paraffin, Meadowlark are back with a touching song. Quicksand is much more vocal based than the other songs from the Bristol-based duo, with a sparse arrangement to focus entirely on the message portrayed in the lyrics. It was written after Kate and Dan become deeply touched by a story about a family working in a brick kiln in Pakistan that was published through Humans of New York (HONY).
Tender have just put out the hauntingly beautiful (and super sexy) Outside, and there is no other way to put it but that we are all over its adventurously sexy lyrics, strong guitar solos, and synthesized background.
