Warm, rusty voice. Heartfelt lyrics. A consistent continuity from top to bottom. This EP is a hug to the soul, a soft kiss to the cheek and an all round bad-day savior. We’re talking about the debut, self-entitled EP of Old Sea Brigade. There is some distinct vulnerability to Love Brought Weight, sincere compositions between back and front vocals in Better Days, and, strangely, an almost motivating and self-discovering harmony to Sleep In The Park. We immediately associated with great names such as Villagers, The National and even a bit of Ben Howard in his early days. There’s no doubt about their journey: from Georgia to the top!
